Paramedics and nurses are constantly bashing each other. In case you are unfamiliar with the difference between the two, paramedics are the ones responsible for picking up a patient in the emergency vehicle, loading them in, and treating them on the go. In other words, they are the first professional responders, and must have an extremely fast reflex and incredible ability to work under pressure, as any wrong move, or the right move done too slowly, for that matter, could potentially jeopardize the life of a patient. Nurses, on the other hand, are the ones who work alongside doctors and are in charge of basic regulations. Additionally, specialized nurses can perform more complicated task, and all of them must work diligently and be able to multitask as they are typically charged with dozens of patients simultaneously. Clearly, both jobs are very stressful.
There are always complaints from the medics about nurses and vice versa.
Nurses: Why don’t you have an IV, Is he a DNR?, Did you guys get his med list?
Medics: Why do you have to be rude ?. Are you going to get report from me OR just have me waiting here for hrs.
It goes on and on.Like
